Lets face it, we all want to be healthy and fit but getting there isn’t always easy. The idea of endless diet and exercise seems so daunting and an almost unattainable goal. Once you have done this and checked with your primary care physician about beginning an exercise program you can get started. As for diet I have found sticking to a healthy diet and counting calories very effective but whatever works best for you, as long as it is healthy should be put into action. You might even consider a referral to a dietitian from your Dr.

Understand that you will reach plateaus in your efforts and that it is normal. Try not to get discouraged and remind yourself that this is not a quick fix but a healthy way of life. You did not gain the weight overnight so you will not lose it overnight. Be consistent and you can achieve a decrease in belly fat and be on your way to more energy and a healthier lifestyle.

Arthritis is a disease that brings on stiffness and pain with swelling and it affects the muscles and the bones, especially the joints where it causes the most damage. Each bone is covered with a living tissue that covers the ends of the bones and guards them from rubbing against each other; this tissue is known as the Cartilage.

Therefore, it has the same needs as other organs and glands; cartilage cells are called chondrocytes. All chondrocytes will die and are usually replaced by new cartilage cells.

When there is prolonged inflammation, cartilage cells are destroyed and die faster than the body’s ability to replace them. Cartilage cells are not sufficiently regenerated when there is injury or insufficient nutrition for regenerating new cells.

Your Own Gym, In Your Own Home

I receive emails everyday from aspiring lifters all over the world, and one of the most common questions I’m asked is “Do I have to join a gym in order to build a strong, muscular body?” The answer, my friend, is no. With the right equipment and planning you can follow an equally effective bodybuilding program from the comfort of your home without ever having to set foot in a gym.

Maybe you can’t afford a gym membership due to your financial situation. Maybe you lead a busy lifestyle and would prefer to save time by training at home. Maybe you’re simply too embarrassed or uncomfortable to train in a regular gym setting at the moment. Whatever your reason, don’t worry!

Actually, there are a lot of people who think that there’s no better place to workout than their own houses. You don’t waste your time going to the gym and back. All you have to do is walk the stairs anytime you feel in the mood for some exercise.

I could listen to whatever music I wanted to, as loud as I wanted to without having to worry about those around me. I could grunt, yelp and scream through my sets if I was in the mood without disturbing anyone (hey, squatting to failure isn’t easy okay?) or train shirtless if I felt like it.

And, at the end of the workout, you don’t have to get into your car to go back to your place to rest.

Ok, there’s not only good news. It’s almost impossible to have in your home to have certain pieces of machinery such as a leg press or calf machine. And because of that, there’ll be some exercises you could not do there.

But, even if you can’t afford that machinery, you can plan out a proper bodybuilding routine. All that fancy equipment is not crucial, and you can swap some of that exercises for freeweight substitutions.

The basic equipment that your home gym should contain is: a) An adjustable barbell with freeweight plates. b) Adjustable dumbbells. c) A bench with incline adjustments. d) A chin-up bar. e) A squat rack.

If you can’t afford a squat rack then you’ll have to be creative. The bottom line is that you must have some sort of apparatus that will allow you to safely unrack a loaded bar and drop the bar onto a safety catch (or the floor) if your strength gives out during the lift.

It’s no more a genuine market of fad diets which give you hopeful advice of losing weight. You look around and everyone is hovering to sell their products and grab money. It hardly matters to them what weight is lost after having their medicines and following their diet regime. The fad diets are not always good. One need to choose them wisely. This causes you to eat more at one sitting rather than having a controlled diet in three meals.

A misconception about carbohydrates is that they lead to weight gain. This is not so as they only generate oil for your body. Thus Fad diets often substitute carbohydrates with proteins in order to curb oil production in your body. Also to find out if you are indeed overweight, measure your BMI. If you are over the ideal weight for your body mass then shedding some weight might be good. Obesity only causes diabetes, high BP and cardiovascular diseases.

Any food can be eaten even if you are on a diet. Reducing weight is all about having balanced food and calculating your calories intake properly. A human body is not designed to be on a fat-free schedule for days. All you need to be aware of is the amount of calorie intake in a meal. The fad diets encourage restriction on certain food items which is not wise to do. Eat a balanced meal and break a meal into three or four parts to increase the number of meals.

If you want to have success you have to really want it. You have dedicate yourself to the goal and change your lifestyle if that is what it takes. Exercise and eating right are the keys to losing weight; not fad diets. I’ve always heard and have always said, “If you’re going to do something worthwhile, do it right the first time”. Count your calories, eat three meals a day, and exercise; your weight loss might not be as quick as it is with some fad diets, but you will be healthier and chances are you won’t regain the weight.

There are times in a person’s life when they gain knowledge of something they wish they hadn’t. Being the victim of a cheating boyfriend is one of those times.

In this world of uncertainty and the recent precipitous dive in “family values”, a cheater can find refuge in the anonymity of numbers. Shocking numbers!

Did you know that about fifty percent of relationships are victim to the infidelity virus. Seem a little high to you, well, it did to me too. I had to look into this more, so I did some more research and found it was true. But even more shocking, was that so many people just live with the cheating and don’t do anything about it.

This is a huge step as it means that we share the same common trait that empower us women; the power to take action and not let bad things happen to us. We have dignity and self esteem, making us untouchable to the emotional damage a cheating boyfriend may try to bestow upon us.

It’s an emotional roller-coaster. But this roller-coaster isn’t scary in the conventional analogy. This is that roller-coaster at the annual state fair that you are terrified for your physical safety. You are scared for your life that it will fall apart and ultimately end in your demise.

There are many times in our lives where we know we have to take action but we are scared. We want to move forward so badly, but just can’t find the strength to do it. This makes us feel pretty miserable, but yet we still seem to live with this fear and misery, even though we have the power to overcome it.

PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER! This is your life. You make the calls (At least you probably used to). Take control of your life again, pull your confidence together and begin living again.

- “Hmmm…Honey, you know I am not one of those controlling girlfriends, but uuhh…where have you been!?! It 6 o’clock in the morning!” This is one of the more obvious signs of a cheating boyfriend, but one that is overlooked many…many times.

- Your Boyfriend lacks that raging libido that once was on the verge of excessive.

- History has a habit of repeating itself. Check your boyfriends relationship history. Look for both consistencies and inconsistencies. And if he does have a historydon’t count on him changing, Trust me.

- He can’t look you in the eye? This is a major clue. Then when you ask him why he gets really angry. Guilt can be a funny thing. It takes control and makes the signs easy to read.

- Hair evidence. Found any hair lately that doesn’t quite match any hair that should be in your man’s radius? This is another one of those signs of a cheating boyfriend that is taken for granted.

- Check receipts! Find any receipts for flowers or jewelry but never received the benefit of his credit card dept. Look for recent purchase on receipts or even on-line computer statements.

- Do you find him using the computer more often than before? Does he have a sudden interest in MySpace, but yet won’t let you see his profile or his page. Does he smile a lot when on the computer then switch pages suddenly when you walk in the room?

- Ah yes, The ever so popular cell phone! Any new trends in his usage or lack thereof? How about texting, or vibrating ringer. How about not answering calls? Out of all the signs of a cheating boyfriend, this is one of the easiest to pick up on and get proof of infidelity.

- Are his friends working in collusion with these question provoking scenarios? Men suck at covering for one another. Can you spot the inconsistencies?

- Do you feel like your doing all the work in the relationship without any effort from your significant other. If he shows this sign of a cheating boyfriend, even if he’s not cheatingget rid of him! You deserve better.

Remember, we still have to build a solid case before we make any attempt at questioning your suspected cheating boyfriend. This will only hurt our chances of gathering concrete evidence! As women, we often think we have plenty of evidence, yet since we cannot predict how our suspected boyfriend will answer, we must be prepared to answer his every excuse with a fact. Remember, he can’t deny anything, once you have solid proof!
