Too much of our food has been highly processed. Processing destroys essential nutrients and fiber and yet most of us are too busy to take the time to eat properly.

Regular use of laxatives can interfere with the body’s natural ability to expel waste. This waste builds up inside the colon and can stay there for days or even years leading to health problems and disease. This can be very painful as anyone who has been constipated knows. This pain and bloating is a classic example of why it’s important to practice colon cleansing.

If your colon is healthy it should evacuate waste twice each day. If waste is not evacuated regularly serious health problems can result.

If this toxic fecal matter is not pushed out it can affect the liver and other organs. When an organ is saturated with toxins it loses its ability to function properly. Many unexplained illnesses may be the direct result of toxin build up due to a poorly functioning colon.

If your colon is not functioning properly and toxins have built up in your system it can lead to health conditions such as fatigue, asthma and anemia. Colon cleansing can help to remove fecal build up in your colon and reduce of the risk of toxins entering your system.

If you have developed colon problems changing your diet to one high in fiber is a step in the right direction but at this stage it may not solve the problem. If your colon is damaged it may take more than a healthy diet to correct the problem.

There are several treatments to clean out your colon. A combination of treatments, colon cleansing, plus a healthy diet and exercise can return you colon to normal and allow your body organs to heal.
