No More Dreaming, Just Boosting My Metabolism Through Exercise
We cannot control everything in our life. We are born with height, coloring and proportions that we just have to live with, unless of course we elect to have expensive surgery. My own experience has shown that I could control my size and fitness by boosting my metabolism through exercise.
Despite trying endless fad diets and starting but never renewing many gym memberships, my dream of a healthy body remained just that for many years - a dream! Not long ago I discovered that these were not the secrets to becoming healthier and fitter; instead it was our metabolism. I found that the more I concentrated on boosting my metabolism the more energy I burned across each day and the more weight I lost.
My body is in better shape than it has ever been. I feel healthier and look better and everyone asks how I did it. My answer is simple. I just made some changes; boosting my metabolism through exercise, watching my diet and modifying some aspects of my lifestyle.
I wanted to make a real and permanent difference to my life-long weight problem so I made changes to my diet. I started to enjoy boosting my metabolism through exercise and I altered aspects of my lifestyle. Changing each of these areas, together, was the smartest step I have ever taken.
I had been very familiar with how to diet but this time I decided to combine the impact of other ways to boost my metabolism. I still watched how much I ate making sure that the number of calories I consumed was never more than the calories I burned. To do this, I ate food containing fewer calories so that the fat supplies around my hips provided me with the energy I needed and then started to disappear.
I had never enjoyed exercise much but I decided that as this was an important way to speed up my metabolism, I would take time to choose the type of exercise I enjoyed most. I started walking every morning and then extended this to jogging some days. I work out regularly with a set of weights I bought recently and have found that by boosting my metabolism like this my legs and torso are tight and terrific!
The only time I do not reach my exercise goals is when I fail to get enough rest. I have not become a hermit and I still party when I want to, but I watch how much I drink. I always leave in time to have a good rest.
I had the answer to better long term health all the time but I had not realized it. Each of these metabolism boosters was the key to my new and healthy body but the real secret to my success was that they all needed to become part of my daily living together. My present lifestyle accommodates time for boosting my metabolism through exercise every day and because of this, I am confident of a long and healthy life.
