Experiencing symptoms of runners knee? Let me share my experience with you. I am a young, healthy individual who enjoys outdoor activities like jogging, running, and marathons. Running and similar activities lets me relax and clear my head. So, I just about went crazy when I developed Runner’s Knee.

Once in a while I will compete or run marathons, but usually I run every day. But then last summer, a terrible pain flared up in my right knee. The doc told me about the condition and how I would need to stop running for a while. I almost slapped him.

We take it for granted that the cartilage cushioning the knee lets our joints glide smoothly. But with Runner’s Knee, the knee grinds against the joints, which is terribly painful. That’s what I had to put up with, and let me just say that it’s no fun at all.

I got myself a book, a bottle of Vicodin, and tried to get friendly with my couch. It drove me mad, mad I say! I wanted to be active, but my Runner’s knee was all ran out for a while.

Here is what I discovered to keep myself sane. There are only so many things you can purchase from infomercials before you realize that none of them work! You can find a reality TV show for every mundane situation you could possibly imagine. It really is impossible to read the encyclopedia.

God actually created heating pads to heal the whole world. And no matter how many thousands of channels you have, there’s still nothing to watch. Finally, my knee got better and now I am running again. I can only describe those few weeks in my life as ‘Hell Week!’ Well, time to go for a run! Speak to you soon.
